Stay Location - Bomdila

Bomdila - Tawang (175 km)
After breakfast, we will move on to Tawang. Pay a visit to Bomdila Monastery, which was established in 1965. Explore over 5000 orchid verities including some rarest species of orchid in Tipi Orchidarium. This will be shown to you on the next day. In Bomdila, have a spectacular view from Bomdila View Point, and witness the impeccable beauty of Bomdila. In the evening enjoy visiting the local market. Afterward, return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Bomdila.

Tawang Sightseeing
After breakfast, visit various beautiful sites in the city. Hit the Tawang Monastery (Golden Namgyal Lhatse), Asia's second-largest and India's largest Buddhist Monastery which was built about 350 years ago in the 17th Century. Explore age-old artifacts related to Tawang Monastery and the Mompa people of Tawang. Get a picturesque view of Tawang township in the heart of sky-piercing mountains. Then we move on to The Tawang War Memorial, a beautiful stupa built in memory of the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the 1962 Sino-Indian war. Later, we will go on a short trek to Bramdungchung Ani Gompa, which is the abode of nuns and the oldest Ani Gompa in Tawang. Take home local carpet woven by local ladies, Mompa traditional mask as a token of memory from Craft Centre Emporium. In the evening enjoy a light and sound show. After this return to your hotel for the overnight stay in Tawang.

Tawang - PTSO Lake - Madhuri Lake - Bum La Pass - Tawang
Post breakfast, start your day with a breathtaking view of Shonga-tser Lake (Madhuri Lake), surrounded by snow-capped mountains and the valley offers a spectacular view. Next move on to Bum La Pass about 37 km away from Tawang, it is the Indo-China border that lies at 15,200 ft above sea level. On your way back stop by Heart Lake, PTSO Lake, and Naghula Lake, which will surely make your day. After this return to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay in Tawang.

Tawang - Dirang (140 Km)
After relishing a wholesome breakfast, proceed for a drive to Dirang, a small hill station in the West Kameng district, and continue to reach the scenic Sela Pass, the only way that connects the Tawang district of the state to the rest of the country. Besides its geographical importance, Sela Pass is a breathtaking place always covered in snow providing some beautiful views of the eastern Himalayan range. En-route visit the famous Sela Lake. Upon reaching Dirang, check in to your hotel. Have a pleasant overnight stay at the Hotel/Homestay in Dirang.

Dirang - Bhalukpong (150 km )
After breakfast, proceed to Bhalukpong. Its spectacular landscape and beautiful nature will surely please your eyes and comfort your body and soul. We will visit Kalachakra Gompa, also called Dirang Monastery, and perceive the serene land. Witness Kiwi Orchids, then to Dirang Dzong (fort) which is about 150 years old, and has an excellent view of the surroundings. Upon arrival at Dirang, check into the hotel. Visit the hot water springs, regional sheep farm, Sangti, and Yak Research Center. Overnight stay at Bhalukpong/Nameri.
